Money Workout - Budget Calculator
Generally, when we think of our expenses each month, large payments such as home, car and utilities come to mind. It is important to itemize all of your expenses in order to determine how much money you have left to save and reach goals. We have divided expenses into four categories.
Fixed
Expenses: Those items in your budget that stay the same
from month to month. The amount of money you spend on each category
each month does not change.
Periodic
Expenses: Expenses that do not occur on a monthly basis, but that you must save for each month, so you have money set aside when the bill arrives.
Variable
Expenses: These are items that you purchase frequently
on a month-to-month basis. However, the amount and date of purchase
vary.
Installment
Expenses: Installment expenses include all of your debt
payments, credit cards, student loans, bank loans and oil cards.
Car loans and house payments are not included in this category.
